The familiar mushroom shape gets a completely different treatment in handblown glass. This set of two pairs smooth white glass bases with broad caps washed in warm yellow and gold, then scattered with irregular white speckling. Light moves through the colored glass differently across each cap, giving the pattern depth and making the pieces especially pretty near a window or in a room with changing natural light.

That soft light coming through the glass gives you another reason to leave them out well beyond fall.
