Mel’s Styling Take

It's the color that makes these so useful to me. Rust can absolutely say fall, but it doesn't have to. Against cream, dark wood, black, or brass, it becomes this beautiful warm note that gives the room a little more depth.

I also wouldn't automatically put the two candles in identical holders. Try one holder that's slightly taller or has a different shape, then let the matching candle color connect them. You still get the relationship of a pair without making the styling feel overly arranged. And because they're flameless, they're an easy way to bring that evening glow into places where I wouldn't necessarily want to keep an eye on a traditional burning taper.
