The Story

The Breda looks a bit like someone drew it with one continuous line. A single brass rod rises into a tall candle cup, swoops down into two loops along the table, and climbs again into a shorter cup, so your two tapers sit at different heights.

The high-shine gold finish catches candlelight and keeps the loops looking light rather than busy. Unlit, it still reads as a small sculpture on a console.

I like using one of these at each end of a long table rather than lining the middle with candles. The asymmetry does more work with some open space around it. Keep the tapers simple, white or a muted olive, and let the loops be the interesting part.
