The first thing I notice here is the color because it doesn't read as simply green or brown. There are several soft, earthy shades moving through the pattern, and that gives you much more to work with when you start building the rest of the room around it.

I would put this on a cream or ivory sofa and let it sit beside a solid olive, warm taupe, or deeper brown pillow. You get the personality of a botanical print without the whole sofa suddenly feeling patterned. I also wouldn't save this one just for fall. Pull out the rust and brown when you want the room warmer, then pair it with lighter creams and greens when you want it to feel fresher.
