The Story
The Albion Throw Pillow is an easy way to bring richer color into a room without committing to one dominant shade. Its abstract print layers sienna, terracotta, brick, deep umber, stone, and softened gray in an irregular pattern that feels almost painterly from across the room. Up close, the linen-weave texture gives those colors a little more depth and keeps the print from feeling flat.
At 20 inches square, Albion is substantial enough to mix with larger solid pillows while still working comfortably on a sofa or chair. The warmer colors make it especially good as the seasons begin to change, but the stone and gray running through the pattern keep it from feeling like a pillow that has to disappear once fall is over.
Design Function
A 20-inch abstract throw pillow designed to introduce layered warm color and pattern while connecting solid pillows and surrounding finishes within a room.

Within our pillow collection, Albion sits in the patterned textile category. The colorfast abstract design provides more visual movement than a solid pillow, while the linen-weave construction gives the printed surface texture. A removable cover and included recycled-polyester fiberfill insert make it practical enough for regular use rather than purely decorative styling.
How to Style It
Let Albion be the pattern that connects the other colors in the room. On a cream or ivory sofa, pair it with solid pillows in merlot, mocha, taupe, camel, or muted olive rather than adding several competing prints. If the room already contains warmer wood or brass, the sienna and terracotta will pick those tones up naturally, while the gray and stone keep the palette grounded.
Where It Works Best
Living room sofas and sectionals, upholstered chairs, bedrooms, reading spaces, and other seating where a 20-inch patterned pillow can introduce color without becoming the largest textile in the arrangement.
Madi's Styling Take
I noticed the color first, which is exactly why this pillow works for me. You have that beautiful brick and terracotta, but then the umber, stone, and gray break it up so it doesn't feel overly warm. On a cream sofa, I'd put Albion with a deeper merlot pillow and one quieter solid in taupe or brown. You get personality and warmth, but the room still feels pulled together.
Pairs Well With
Pair Albion with solid pillows in merlot, burgundy, mocha, taupe, camel, cream, or muted olive. It also works beautifully alongside warm wood, aged brass, cream upholstery, natural stone, and florals that repeat just one or two of the deeper tones found in the print.
Good to Know
The Albion pillow includes both the removable sham and insert. A concealed bottom zipper with zipper flap makes it easy to remove the insert for laundering or to change the cover seasonally. The colorfast cover is machine washable and can be tumble dried; the non-allergenic polyester insert is also machine washable.
Product Insight
The Albion Abstract Throw Pillow combines terracotta, sienna, umber, stone, and gray in one print, making it an easy bridge between warm solid pillows and neutral upholstery.
