Go Gold in September for Childhood Cancer Awareness

5% of the proceeds of the October box sales are going to help fund Children's Cancer Research.

This cause is near and dear to our hearts. In February of 2017, our friend's son, Mason Ward, lost his courageous battle to Diffuse Instrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). He was 9. It was during this time that we learned
that only 4% of the money raised for cancer research is dedicated to our children.

Awareness is the key to funding. So by reading this, you are already helping.

Additionally, we will be donating 5% of the proceeds of the October Box sales to DIPG research in
Mason's name through  Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Mason Ward: A Note From His Family

Mason’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time that one lives.
His quick wit, easy laughter and infectious smile brought joy to those around him. Mason maintained unparalleled strength, perseverance, and an unmatched sense of humor throughout the many challenges he faced during the course of his illness.
His courage led us all to believe that each day is an opportunity to love, laugh, create memories, and of course, eat our favorite foods.
Mason loved his family, friends and his dogs, and he protected them fiercely. He had the opportunity to create many amazing memories with family and friends that will help to sustain those he left behind. He enjoyed music, reading, art projects, arcades, Minecraft, gemstones, candy, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
With Mason’s passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Though we will miss him every day for the rest of our lives, he will remain alive in our hearts. It has been a blessing and a privilege to be his parents.
